What motivates internists in Portugal, Italia or Iceland? What are the common clinical pictures there? What is the basis of their respective health policies? How are young internists trained? Which problems must European medical experts address – and how do they solve them?
Leading internists from Europe and outside Europe bundle new medical knowledge from clinical practice and research at the 17th European Congress of Internal Medicine (ECIM) 2018 in Wiesbaden. For the first time in 15 years, the annual congress of the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM) will take place in Germany again; the event will be held from 30 August to 1 September 2018 under the motto: “The art of managing clinical complexity: An integrated, patient-centred approach”. The conference venue is the newly opened RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) Wiesbaden.
The ECIM is oriented towards physicians from clinical practice and research. It is also geared towards scientists from related areas and young medical experts. The conference language is English.
